Hello!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Dartmouth College, advised by Prof. David Kotz and Prof. Timothy Pierson. Before joining Dartmouth, I obtained my master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University with Prof. Josiah Hester and Prof. Nabil Alshurafa, and my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Beijing Normal University, advised by Prof. Junqi Guo.
My research focuses on privacy and security in mobile and Internet-of-Things (IoT) environments. Currently, I am investigating how to leverage Generative AI to improve user awareness and control over data privacy in smart home ecosystems, aiming to develop privacy-preserving “smarter” home solutions. Previously, I have explored topics like Wi-Fi-based device location sensing and building mobile health systems.
